The Charleston Coliseum is pleased to host consecutive WVSSAC Girls’ & Boys’ High School Basketball Championships. The 13,500-seat coliseum has new state-of-the-art LED lighting and sound system. Recent WiFi network upgrades provide accessibility for to up to 7,500 concurrent users.
Patrons may enter the facility from both the Clendenin Street lobby (across from the mall) or the Quarrier Street entrance lobby. Doors open one hour prior to show time.

All session books for boys tournament are available at box office for $64.
You may experience a delay while entering the coliseum for today’s event due to security measures. There will be metal detectors in place at both entrances so please be mindful of prohibited items. All visitors to the Charleston Coliseum are subject to magnetometer screening and all bags are subject to search. Patrons are required to remove only their keys and phones prior to walking through the metal detectors. Prohibited items include (but not limited to) the following: Large purses or bags, tote bags, backpacks of any kind, outside food or drink, knitting needles of crochet hooks, guns or weapons of any kind, knives of any kind (includes pocket knives), selfie sticks, and camera cases or bags. All prohibited items will be denied at the gate. Confiscated items will not be returned. Items may not be stored at the venue. The Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Parking is available in adjacent venue Quarrier Street parking garage and Greyhound parking garage on Lee Street for $3 or in the Charleston Town Center Parking garage within easy walking distance.
